Man of Success
Hai semua,

Things don't always work out the way you'd like
Tidak semua hal berjalan sesuai keinginan Anda
Derek Redmond was favoured to medal in the Olympic 400 meter sprint
150 meters into the race, Derek felt a searing pain...
In agony, he fell to the ground with a torn hamstring
Not willing to give up
Tidak mau menyerah
Determined to finish the race, he continued
Bertekad untuk menyelesaikan pertandingan, dia melanjutkannya
Breaking through security, a man came to Derek's side
Menerobos kemanan, seorang pria menghampiri sisi Derek
It was his father
Dia adalah ayahnya
"You don't have to do this", he told his son | " Yes, I do ", he replied
Well then, we're going to finish this together!"
Together father and son continued
Bersama-sama mereka melanjutkannya
Shortly before the finish line, Derek's father let him go to complete his race
Beberapa meter sebelum garis finis, ayah Derek melepaskannya dan membiarkan dia menyelesaikan pertandingannya
Receiving a standing ovation a crowd of over 65,000
When you DON'T GIVE UP, you CAN NOT FAIL!!
Do not ever give up!! Keep doing it what you have started and in the end you will get the best result for your own sake.
Thanks Derek Redmond for inspiring me so much :))

(Not) A Real Man
Hello Readers,
How are you today. I hope you had a beautiful day :)
Well, today I want to share something to all of you. What's on your mind when i say the word ' real man ' ? What do you think a real man behaves?
always being nice...
speak and behave in manners...
never lie...
open the door for a lady....
pulled out chairs for a women...
do not mind holding a lift door for someone else...
willing to stand and give his seat to a woman, pregnant woman, or the elderly...
Well, I will not discuss all behaviour, only the last one.
Truly, a man ( the real one ) should give his seat to a woman in a bus. Especially, for the pregnant woman. But nowadays, many men don't even care about that manly thing.
For example, today i took bus to Depok. It's a long way to get there, and the bus driver drive so slowly, so it takes maybe 1-1,5 hours to get to the place. And if you weren't lucky, you have to stand for hours. Luckily, i always get a seat because i took that bus from it departures, so the bus usually still empty.
But, there was a woman (pregnant woman) ride when the bus already full. I don't know there's a standing pregnant woman, because i was fell asleep when the bus ride.
When the bus entering the highway gate, i awake. And then, I saw the pregnant woman standing in front of me near the front door (fyi, i sit at the back of the bus). For the first time, i didn't realize that she was pregnant, but when i see her tummy, i knew that she was pregnant. Then, when she saw me, i called her to have my seat. I stood up and gave my seat to her. She says thanks to me.
What makes me sad is, there are many young men were sitting and they knew there were a pregnant woman who stood in the bus. But they did not even bother to give their seat to her. Some even turn their heads pretending not see the woman. How ironic!
Were there no 'real man' left in the world?
I just missed my grandpa. My mom told me that he was a real gentleman. He always open the doors (any doors; cars, house, etc) not only for his lovely wife but also for his daughters. He always gives a seat for the one who needed most (woman, elderly). Even though I never met him, I just knew that he was awesome! And fyi, he was one of Indonesians Hero. He was buried in Taman Makam Pahlawan Kalibata. I'm so proud of him!! So much!!
I hope, I can get a husband like my grandpa. A real man. Insya Allah. Aamiinn. :)
That was my sharing for today. Thank you for reading this post. Have a good day and good luck!
PS:
Wishes --> Women : May we all get a real man to accompany us for the rest of our lives.
Men : May you all turn into a real man :P
